Center for Open and Distance Learning (CODL) which was formally called as Distance Learning Unit – was started in 1991 with the objective of providing higher educational opportunities for students.
The main objective of the CODL is to provide higher educational opportunities for students who have been left out of the traditional university system. The CODL is also providing equal educational opportunities for higher education in an outcome-based education for a large segment of the population.
